Who are CASI?

CASI is one of the only professional snowboard instruction certification bodies in the world that is run entirely by snowboarders. It has a seven-member national Board of Directors; six elected by the membership, plus the Executive Director (who is a non-voting member). The Board conducts CASI’s affairs and business, which are then administered by the Executive Director.

CASI has a National Technical Team to assist in the technical operation of CASI. The purpose of the National Technical Team is to make decisions regarding course content, manual content, and technical doctrine and to make those recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.

Mission: To champion the sport of snowboarding and snowboard instruction by providing an inclusive educational community while maintaining a leading international standard of snowboard instruction through innovative, relevant, and effective techniques.
